Currently Goole started focusing on the mobile space following some other software giants. This is certainly the fact that space is still a market that quite clear. A mobile version of Gmail web application for touch screen devices have been available for more than one year until now. However, these services can only be enjoyed by users of English. So Google started paying attention to these weaknesses by bringing a local version and introduces support for more than 44 languages around the world.

"Last year we launched a new mobile Gmail service for the iPhone and Android," wrote David Yonge-Mallo, Software Engineer at Google through its official blog. David continues that since then users who use Gmail in the English language can directly access from mobile browsers gmail.com and get most of the same features as the desktop version of Gmail. "Starting today, the latest version of Gmail for mobile is available in 44 new languages," he said. Gmail Interface optimized for touch screen-based devices, especially the iPhone and Android phones.

Special smartphone version will add support for search, labels, and a number of other features that are considered not very important in the web version of normal. However, serious users who use email on the go would be better to use the Gmail application for Android and iPhone. This application includes a lot of features and pretty much a regular desktop web application. Recently, support for Android applications Priority Inbox, one of the biggest new feature in Gmail this year. Of course, there is some support for Priority Inbox in the mobile web version only by filtering out emails with the label "Important".
