Currently Goole started focusing on the mobile space following some other software giants. This is certainly the fact that space is still a market that quite clear. A mobile version of Gmail web application for touch screen devices have been available for more than one year until now. However, these services can only be enjoyed by users of English. So Google started paying attention to these weaknesses by bringing a local version and introduces support for more than 44 languages around the world."Last year we launched a new mobile Gmail service for the iPhone and Android," wrote David Yonge-Mallo, Software Engineer at Google through its official blog.
